WHEN WINTER SETS IN, don’t get down in the dumps… Beat the blahs by turning your own home into an indoor Garden of Eden. You won’t have to peer through frosted glass anymore, solemnly pining away for the verdant hues of summertime in the city. Instead, you’ll be able to cast your gaze upon a beautiful vertical garden, cascading down your kitchen wall. Now you can grow fresh vegetables all year round from the comfort of your own home, enjoying organic salads and spices that you hand-pick yourself, within walking distance of the dining room. What about a luscious living wall in your living room? Or how about a gorgeous garden in your den? The latest ecological technology is also the newest movement in interior design: LIVING WALLS!

LIVING WALLS FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
TO FAMILIARIZE OUR CLIENTS with the concept of Living Walls, we’ve assembled a series of articles about vertical gardens all over the world. In Part I – Beautiful Blanc Walls, we examine the prolific work of Frenchman Patrick Blanc, who has taken the movement to new heights, quite literally. In Part II – Real Green Houses, we look at the lifetime achievement of Michael Reynolds, inventor of the Earthship, a green home / greenhouse hybrid that has taken off in Taos, New Mexico. And in Part III – Another Twig in the Wall, we put it in perspective and bring it home to the GTA, talking about Green Walls here in Toronto. Go Green!
GREEN APPLE HEADQUARTERS LIVING WALL (Photos & Video)
WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE that Green Apple will now be doing indoor landscaping as well as outdoor landscaping — in the form of Green Walls. The wedge between architecture and landscape architecture is an artificial one — and in any case, it’s a lot wider than it needs to be. Amazingly, it’s been exactly seventy-five years since Frank Lloyd Wright designed the infamous Falling Water house, considered to be the building that first blurred the barrier between structure and nature, inside and out. It’s taken a long time till we were ready for the next step, but the time has come to integrate vertical gardens into our homes, for physical and psychological health.
