This upper beach Toronto home needed a front yard parking pad. It was very difficult to park on the road at certain times of the day and weekend.
The hydro pole location meant that we had to create a diagonal spot perpendicular to the mutual driveway.
Also since there was permit parking on their side of the street we had to locate the parking pad on private property and go through the Building Department and seek a variance at Committee of Adjustments (COA) to zoning to allow for it.
We have always liked diagonal parking pads because they allow for planting to hide the car a bit from the road and they have the feel of a circular driveway which is always nice.
Looking forward to getting approval for this one and building it.
