Moore Park Backyard Makeover

In crafting the landscape for this compact downtown Toronto backyard, our client presented an ambitious wishlist: a trampoline, a ping pong table, a basketball patio, a lounging space, and a dining area.

Meeting these diverse demands was a stimulating challenge. I aimed to blend functionality with ambiance by designing an elegant deck with a covered roof attached to the house, complemented by an additional covered deck near the garage. These structures seamlessly elevated the usability of the various sports and game installations throughout the yard.

Moreover, the inclusion of sizable poured-in-place concrete stepping stones introduced a distinctive touch of sophistication, adding an unexpected layer of elegance to this outdoor space.

The achievement is both a kids space, and an adult space.
