Meet the person who started Green Apple. With a career spanning over four decades in the landscape industry, Peter Solti embarked on his journey by establishing his own landscaping venture during high school. His professional growth continued through roles with esteemed landscape firms in Toronto, eventually culminating in the founding of Green Apple.
With a hands-on involvement in on-site landscape construction spanning many years, Peter has garnered a profound understanding of the field from its foundational elements.
Currently, he not only orchestrates the day-to-day operations of the company but also takes on the responsibilities of sales and estimating.
As a Certified Landscape Professional and Certified Landscape Technician, Peter Solti plays a pivotal role in shaping the legacy of Green Apple, leveraging his extensive industry experience to guide the company towards continued success.
Meet Fred, our visionary landscape designer at Green Apple, shaping outdoor spaces since 2016. With over four decades of expertise in the landscape industry, Fred is a Certified Landscape Designer whose journey began in production and culminated in successfully managing his own landscape company.
Fred's passion for design led him to pursue a diploma in landscape design from Sheridan College, and his dedication has been recognized with numerous awards from Landscape Ontario. Leveraging the latest in computer design software, he crafts both 2D and 3D landscape masterpieces for our clients.
From the initial consultation to the final online presentation of meticulously crafted plans, Fred is personally invested in every project. His wealth of experience, coupled with an eye for innovation and a commitment to staying abreast of global trends, sets him apart. Fred thrives on challenges, continuously pushing boundaries to bring fresh perspectives influenced by European and global inspirations.

Production Manager
Meet Simon, our dedicated Project Manager at Green Apple Landscaping since 2011. In his role as production manager, Simon oversees job site production with a keen eye for both hardscape and softscape projects. His versatile skill set spans interlocking brick pavers, masonry, concrete, carpentry, and planting – truly showcasing his mastery in all aspects of landscaping.
A former Hamilton Tiger-Cats football player, Simon brings a history of success, having also run his own fencing and decking company. Additionally, he was a trailblazer in the ATM machine industry, a success story that he continues to build upon at Green Apple.
Simon's commitment to excellence is evident in his meticulous attention to detail and his perfectionist approach. He possesses a natural curiosity and researches new products thoroughly before installation. This curiosity stems from his childhood, where Simon would dismantle things to understand their inner workings, a habit that has translated into his ability to fix almost anything.
Concrete holds a special place in Simon's heart, being his greatest passion. In his spare time, he crafts glass fibre reinforced concrete (GFRC) items such as planters in his garage. This passion for concrete extends to his professional endeavors, where Simon has enhanced our mortar joints to create high-strength concrete capable of withstanding corrosive salts commonly used on porches and walkways. Simon's dedication and expertise significantly contribute to the success and innovation at Green Apple Landscaping.

There is a lot of red tape to get a permit from the city to do this and Peter and his team are experts at helping you through this process.
