What type of projects do you take on?

• Green Apple takes on only complete makeover projects of a backyard, front yard, or full property.
• We have a design + build model specializing in gardens of a modern style.
• We also have a speciality consulting, obtaining permits, designing, and installing front yard parking pads in the City of Toronto.

What is the process of landscaping my property?

• We begin with a design consultation at your home with our landscape designer. The cost is $150 plus HST.
• At the end of the design consultation, you can choose to proceed with a landscape design or you can get back to us later.
• If you proceed with the landscape design contract at the design consultation meeting, the design consultation is free. Our designer will stay longer and measure the site, take elevation grades and pictures.
• 4-6 weeks later, depending on how busy we are at the time, we will present the completed landscape design to you at your home.
• When we have a final approved landscape plan then a final cost estimate can be provided for the installation of the project.
• After the estimate is approved we will schedule the installation for our construction crew.

What is a design consultation and what is the cost?

• A design consultation is an initial meeting at your home with our landscape designer.
• They will spend the necessary time with you to understand your goals, ideas, and site issues and answer any questions that you might have.
• Our designer can discuss preliminary design direction and can offer material suggestions.
• The cost of the initial design consultation is $150 plus HST.
• If you proceed with a landscape design contract at this first meeting, we waive this fee.

What does an analysis cost to determine whether your property meets the by-law governing a legal front yard parking pad?

• For those interested in a front yard parking pad in the City of Toronto, we offer an analysis of your property to determine if your property meets the by-laws governing front yard parking and whether the city would accept an application. 
• The cost of the analysis is $150 plus HST.
• If your property does meet the by-laws and you would like to proceed with an application for front yard parking, you will require a landscape plan to be created that meets the by-laws. We also offer this service at an additional fee and it includes coaching throughout the permitting process. We can even build your parking pad once you obtain the permit.
